L&Q

Linger & Quiet:
Linger & Quiet are Matthew Kwiatkowski and Genevieve Dellinger. Happily partnered in Portland Oregon, they stay busy making music mixes in their 1927 bungalow on Brooklyn Street. When they aren’t playing with music at home, they can usually be found at their monthly party NIGHTCLUBBING at Holocene, or playing records at favored haunt Valentine’s. If they aren’t any of those places, check the park. They are probably there, drinking coffee and playing with their dog and riding bikes around their awesome town.

NIGHTCLUBBING:
DJ duo Linger&Quiet started their renowned NIGHTCLUBBING party in 2007 at Portland’s well loved club Holocene. Inspired largely by Beats in Space and Optimo, the night’s humble roots have developed into the epicenter of a blossoming local scene of psychedelic, basement level house music. Their monthly podcast has come to define the Portland sound and spread their reach far beyond the Pacific Northwest. Thanks for listening in!

    HI!

I’ve been listening to your podcast for a while now. I LOVE IT! Here’s the problem though, I got a new mac blah blah blah but when trying to re-download your podcasts and I seem to keep getting this error message “Linger and quiet does not seem to be a valid podcast url”. Just an FYI. I hope this gets worked out so I can keep listening to your wonderful podcast. Thank you!!

Hello there my lovely and wonderful L&Q!

Odd thing has just happened, Blogspot has just removed (from live status) a post of mine from back in June. It was a repost of your podcast #6. All links where to your site, I wasn’t hosting anything, but apparently –
“Blogger has been notified, according to the terms of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), that certain content in your blog is alleged to infringe upon the copyrights of others. As a result, we have reset the post(s) to ‘draft’ status.”

    Very baffling.

Anyway, hope you’re well and thanks for the Halloween mix, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed listening to it.

    • Weird….maybe there is a track on there that an artist doesn’t like published without rights paid? Hasn’t happened to us yet, hopefully not. Thanks for always listening and re-posting! XO

Hi guys! This is Raf from Eggy Records. I was thinking it’d be a cool thing to do a tape together, a Linger and Quiet mix in a physical format. What do you think? We could do it nice with nice art and everything… anyway, you can let me know, eggyrecords@gmail.com.
Either way, thanks for all the great mixes! -Raf

    M. Quiet – I enjoyed your set at DB. I’m glad it led me here.

You guys are what “Willis” was talking about! Love the mixes!
I hope to catch you guys in pdx/sea; anywhere really.
